College of the Mainland employees are encouraged to attend a Benefits Fair hosted by the Human Resources Department on Wednesday, June 5.

The Benefits Fair will provide full-time, benefits-eligible employees with insurance benefit information about ongoing and upcoming insurance benefit plans, said Andrea Crucian, an HR Benefits Coordinator. Insurance vendor representatives also will be able to answer questions for employees regarding their particular insurance needs, she said.

The Benefits Fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the COM Conference Center.

Full-time and part-time employees also can visit with some of COM’s approved retirement vendors who will be present to provide information about COM’s voluntary retirement plan (403b), as well as take advantage of local community vendors wanting to share their products/services with employees.

The fair also will allow employees to gather information before the start of the annual summer enrollment period, which is scheduled for July 8 -20.

Any annual summer enrollment changes will go into effect on Sept. 1.
