Commencement ceremonies for College of the Mainland are scheduled for Saturday, May 18 at Abundant Life Center in La Marque.

Due to the number of candidates, commencement is held during two ceremonies. A total of 935 candidates are scheduled to receive 1,024 awards this year.

The first ceremony is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon for candidates of Associate of Science, Associate of Arts, Associate of Arts in Teaching and Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency.

The second ceremony from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. are for candidates of Associate of Applied Science and certificates.
