College of the Mainland Foundation has created a Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund to help impacted COM students and employees.

Donors can help individuals recover more quickly by giving to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund at www.com.edu/giving/harveyrelief.

COM Foundation will quickly evaluate students and employees’ small, urgent, one-time needs, such as replacing flood-destroyed textbooks, that will allow them to succeed this semester despite the storm. Students can also apply for aid at www.com.edu/harvey.

COM Foundation has been making a difference in the lives of students since 1967. The fundraising arm of the college, the foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts from our alumni, friends, employees, corporations and foundations support and maintain the highest quality of education for our students. The foundation offers more than 110 scholarships each year for students in all majors.

COM classes begin Sept. 11 to allow students and their families time to recover. COM’s second session of classes will begin Oct. 30.
