Tillie Henson, COM archivist and among COM’s first students, shared about her journey with COM.

“This is your college. It’s good to remember where you came from,” said Henson. “When we started the college, we went out to the community and we showed pictures of babies because we wanted the college to be here for those babies as they grew up. These are my granddaughters, and they are the future now.”

COM offers multicultural and historic celebrations each year to educate students and welcome the community to campus.
