Begin your pathway to success this summer with College of the Mainland’s associate degree and certificate program classes, now open for summer registration.
 
Whether your goal is to enter the workforce quickly or continue your education with a bachelor’s degree, COM offers a variety of programs to build a solid foundation – at a fraction of the cost of university courses – for your future career.
 
Students may register for Summer I classes through June 2. Classes begin June 5. Students may register for Summer II classes through July 6. Classes begin July 10.

Before registering, individuals must apply to the college at www.com.edu/apply. An open enrollment college, COM admits all students who submit necessary documentation.

Continuing Education

COM’s wide array of continuing education classes for adults and senior adults are open for registration today.

The Continuing Education Program offers courses in professional and technical training—such as welding, mechanics and health care—to help students meet their career goals. Individuals can also explore new interests with physical fitness, the arts or foreign language classes. Classes are held at the main campus in Texas City or the COM Learning Center-North County in League City.
 
The 50 Plus Program, located at the new center at 14057 Delaney Rd. in La Marque, provides classes in painting, fusion glass jewelry, low-impact exercises and more. The program also sponsors trips to venues such as the Alvin Opry and Pirate Museum as well as lectures on topics seniors care about from fraud prevention to health care updates. Classes are targeted to adults 50 plus but open to adults of any age.
