The Center for Risk Management will host a no-cost class Safety Audits at the Gulf Coast Safety Institute on April 15.

Students will learn why to audit and how to comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. Additionally, students will learn how to present and manage information gathered in audits and customize audits for their organization.

Greg Smith, certified safety professional, teaches this class. He is a principal and co-founder of Vector Risk and Safety LLC. He has authored materials for the American Society of Safety Engineers Construction Practice Specialty’ textbook and the ASSE Safety Professionals’ Handbook as well as a variety of safety articles for other publications.

All classes are sponsored by Texas Mutual Insurance Company and presented at the Gulf Coast Safety Institute, located at 320 Delany Rd. in La Marque.
