50 is the new 55. The College of the Mainland Senior Adult Program is proud to announce its change to the 50 Plus Program. Classes, trips and lectures are now open to ages 50 and older at a nominal cost.

Registration for spring 50 Plus Program classes, lectures and day trips begins Dec. 1.

Classes range from art to iPads to fitness and are offered at a nominal cost for those 50 plus, but open to adults of all ages.

“The program is growing – we served nearly 3,000 adults last year,” said Director of Lifelong Learning Alesha Vardeman Aulds. “The name change aligns us with AARP’s definition of seniors as 50 plus.”

Bring a potluck dish and a friend and enjoy a sing-a-long, great food and entertainment. A silent auction and raffle will benefit the Grover and Ada Faye Salsbury Scholarship, open to students 50 plus.
