Emergencies arise at a moment’s notice, and free Incident Command System (ICS) classes at the Gulf Coast Safety Institute will train personnel in government and private agencies in how to use ICS coordinate their responses.

The ICS-EOC Interface Course (G191) will be held Dec. 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gulf Coast Safety Institute. A National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS) Overview Class will be held Jan. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gulf Coast Safety Institute.

The ICS-EOC Interface Course will enable the participants to develop an effective interface between the Incident Command and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) by applying Incident Command System principles. It is recommended that participants have completed ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
