Campus Sex Crime Prevention Act

In accordance to the Campus Sex Crime Prevention Act (section 1601 of Public Law 106-386), which is a Federal Law enacted on October 28, 2000, that provides for the tracking of convicted registered sex offenders enrolled as students at institutions of higher education, or working on college campuses, College of the Mainland provides a link to the Texas Sex Offender Registry website and instructions on how to access it below.

To search the Texas Sex Offender Registry by name or location, click on the link below, read the caveats and agree to the terms.

  • Go to the TXDPS Sex Offender Registry web site.
  • In the Sex Offender Searches box, click on School.
  • From the School drop-down menu, select College of the Mainland.
  • Click the Search button.
