Barbers provide the following services:
- Recommend different hair styles that best fits the client
- Haircutting, washing, coloring, texturizing, men’s basic manicuring and facials
- Professional shave
- Straight razor techniques
About the Program
The barbering program trains students in hands-on barbering skills and examines business and industry trends. This is a 1000 clock hour course to prepare students for the Texas Class A Barber Exam.
Students will prepare for all areas of the barbering profession, including the Texas Law and Rules of Barbering, haircutting, hairstyling, the professional shave, chemical texturizing, coloring and manicures.
Industry-trained COM instructors will guide students in the classroom and lab.
