A regular meeting of the board of trustees of College of the Mainland was held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in the COM Conference Center.

All Trustees were present, except Melissa Skipworth.

Board Items of Interest

The following position was approved:

  • Ashley Love was approved for the position of Assistant Professor of Theatre, Fine Arts Department.

The new Associate of Arts English degree was approved.

Approval for the following contract awards:

  • Contract 21-11 to purchase science and medical supplies for a not-to-exceed amount of $417,000 to be paid from 2018 bond funds
  • Contract 21-12 for move services for a not-to-exceed amount of $150,000 to be paid from 2018 bond funds

The discussion of Title V Grant - Pathways Accelerating STEM Success (PASS) was presented by Dr. Vicki Stanfield, VP for Student Services and Deborah Fregia,

Title V Director.

The Update Report on Information Technology Audit was presented by Ron LeVick, Chief Information Officer.

The 2021-2022 Property/Casualty Insurance Renewals were approved.

All other agenda items were unanimously approved.
