What is a Peer Mentor?

Driving Unity, Confidence & Knowledge

D.U.C.K. Peer Mentors are dedicated to supporting fellow students as they navigate their academic journey. They play a role in:

  • Helping students navigate challenges
  • Building a sense of community
  • Connecting students with academic and campus resources
  • Serving as a study partner, advocate and role model

Peer mentoring goes beyond traditional guidance; it’s about forming meaningful, reciprocal relationships where both mentors and mentees grow. With the support of a Peer Mentor, students will feel more connected to the campus, empowering them to succeed both personally and academically.

I'm currently wrapping up my degree in Business Administration, and I'm hoping to encourage my peers through positive reinforcement and help us all grow together! I love reading and history, and I would describe my mentoring style as goal focused. I want to help you recognize your goals and the actions needed to achieve them, so you can build the future you're dreaming of.
