Carl D. Perkins Support Services

The Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education program is a federally funded initiative designed to provide support services to students enrolled in approved career and technical education (CTE) programs. The grant aims to assist students in overcoming obstacles to successfully complete their technical certificates or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees.

Available Support Services

If you qualify for the Perkins program, you may access the following campus support services to help reduce the cost of your attendance:

Child Care Assistance

The grant can provide financial allowances up to $175 per week per child to help cover child care costs while you attend classes. Care must be managed by a licensed provider, and funds are distributed directly based on seasonal funding allocations.
