Getting Started

How it Works
We're here to help. Getting started is simple.
- Visit the COM Market during regular market hours.
- When you arrive, a team member will help verify your eligibility and registration.
- If you have not registered yet, don't worry. A team member can help you complete the registration process during your visit.
- Once registered, you can shop the market and select from available groceries and other essentials at no cost.
Food and supplies are provided through the COM Market's partnership with the Galveston County Food Bank and other donations. Available products may vary, so specific items or quantities cannot be guaranteed.

Supporting Student Success
Access to food and basic necessities can make a meaningful difference in a student's ability to focus on college. The COM Market is part of the support available through the Dean of Students Office to help students address challenges that may affect their education and well-being.
