Welcome to Club Sports

First, thank you all for your interest in College of the Mainland’s Club Sports on campus. Our basketball, soccer, volleyball, and flag football teams are excited to invite you with a warm welcome to the COM Fighting Ducks. By joining our team, you should know that, you have everything to gain in our club sports from friendship, professional mentorship, team camaraderie, character building, basic sport specific skills, and most importantly direct resources toward your success. You will have the privileges for the following opportunities as well.

Through the past semesters, College of the Mainland’s Club Basketball team has traveled to a basketball tournament in College Station and Austin. The team also had the opportunity to tour the campus and community.

Our Club soccer team currently active year-round is indoor soccer at Big League Dreams. We have won the Men’s Silver Championship and runner-up the following season. The team is also looking forward to possibly joining in the Lone Star College Soccer League which will consist on traveling to the surrounding Houston area to play numerous colleges.

The Club volleyball team is a co-ed team who will be involved in the Tuesday/Thursday Volleyball League that College of the Mainland hosts during the regular semesters.

As for our Flag Football team, we are currently building a roster to enter 2 flag football tournaments for the FY18-19 Academic Calendar year at Lone Star College in Houston.

Student Life and our Club Sports welcomes you all to our team! Our goals for our students is to initiate your involvement on campus, in our community, and assist in your college success here at College of the Mainland and as you transfer and/or graduate with a degree or certification.

Lastly, Student Life hopes you continue to participate with us throughout the Academic Calendar year.

Welcome to the team!
